MidCentury Matcha Mama
-
1 sheet focaccia bread (click for basic focaccia recipe) cut into 4 large pieces or as many as needed to fit in large skillet.
-
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
-
2 TBSP butter
-
Garlic powder

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle garlic powder over butter. Place pieces of focaccia bred in pan, top with shredded cheese.

Cover with lid so cheese will melt. Cook until cheese is melty and bottom of bread is browned and crispy.

Enjoy by itself or dipped in soup, like my French-style tomato soup.
