Shifting my wardrobe along with the weather and season and it's time tp warm up my color palette and my clothing. Hello sweater weather! Here are five things things I'm wearing in different combinations as I go pumpkin patching, apple picking, and enjoying autumnal things.
My color palette guides shifting my closet into fall. These colors serve as the base for combining pieces to tie together outfits.
1. Cardigan, t-shirt, and boots combo.
The most "basic" of fall go-to outfits is fun to play with different prints and patterns.
Favorite medium wash jeans for fall
2. Boyfriend Blazers
Classic plaid and shoulder pads and leather are what I'm reaching for.
Mock neck black tank, cream leather skirt and rust boots with my favorite blazer.
Favorite blazer here
Leather, taupe and black stripes and chunky heeled boots.
Leather cami, boots and my blazer. This is one of my edgiest outfits.
Taupe cami and leather blazer. All of these are perfect for when the occasion calls for "jeans and a nice top."
3. Lots o' leather.
Along with my leather blazer and cami, my leather dress and even leather pants come out to play in the fall.
Long or short sleeves paired with this nice alternative to jeans.
Vegan leather skirt styled for fall brunch!
4. The pullover
Cardigans and cute tops have their place, but days when I want to be extra cozy and know I won't need to peel back a layer, pullover sweatshirts and sweaters are the perfect choice.
Pumpkin spice and everything nice on this graphic pullover.
Fall twisted up! This twist front knit sweater is a festive fall staple.
5. The shacket
The quintessential shirt + jacket hybrid, the shacket is a fall necessity.
Thicker than a shirt, best for outdoor activities when a light jacket is needed. My go-to outfit for hayrides and apple picking!
I prefer my shackets in a solid color rather than plaid or flannel. That way I have the freedom to change it up, here I pair it with a plaid cami but I can leave it open for any other color or print pairing. Hello fall graphic tees!
Let me know what you're wearing this fall!
Be well,
Elle.
