I think the most fun part about this was hunting and scouring thrift stores for the pieces! The undershirt is a combination of two shirts, one long sleeve cut up silk shirt, with the bottom cut off and reattached at the sleeves, and snipped for a "tattered" effect.
The top collar is a sleeveless dress top with a drapey collar. The pants were found in the men's section at the thrift store.
The gloves and baby pajamas were from Amazon, but I figured Christmas he'd get plenty of wear out of them and I have two other costumes/ cosplays planned for the gloves.
The ball is a paperweight we've had for years and the bodice I bought years ago for Ren Faire. (Oh how I miss Ren Faire!!!!)
This was really fun to do, even if we didn't go anywhere. We had a nice movie night at home watching the Labyrinth and all its cringe-worthy, campy glory.
Poor babe, Goblin king was too much. He was very converned when I got him up from his nap in full David-Bowie mode, but he had so much fun dancing to Dance Magic Dance.
Happy Halloween, more to come!
Be well,
Elle.
