Maple Bacon Toasted Brussels Sprouts

Candied with real maple syrup, cooked in bacon fat and rolled in chopped pecans these make the perfect fall side.

Recipe:
2 slices of bacon
1 package frozen brussels sprputs
2 TBSP real maple syrup
2 TBSP chopped pecans

Cook bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain half the pan.
Add brussels sprouts to pan and cook on high for 5 minutes or until thawed.
Add maple syrup, stirring to coat until candied. Add pecans and stir to distribute.
Add crumbled bacon back to pan and serve.

This recipe is perfect when you have a bit of bacon left. It makes this beloved veggie a bit more indulgent, but a toasty and delicious fall side.

Be well,
