MidCentury Matcha Mama
Vanilla Bean Paste
I was stunned to have such a difficult time finding a recipe for a small batch of vanilla bean paste. Here's what I did, it turned out perfectly speckled and delicious!

Recipe:
-
3 whole vanilla beans (Grade B) chopped into 1 inch pieces.
-
1/4 Cup Agave nectar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract

In a food processor, add nectar and extract, then drop in vanilla bean pieces. Pulse to grind, and strain into container through a tea strainer. Press over with your thumb to free any vanilla bean specks that may have become clumped or trapped.

I purchased these grade B vanilla beans from Amazon, and the flavor was superb! My paste remained fresh for months.
