MidCentury Matcha Mama
Whiplash Breakfast Sandwiches (Chef-Burger Copycat)
Recipe:
-
4 large buns
-
1 lb of bacon
-
Sliced dill pickles
-
8 slices cheddar cheese
-
8 fried eggs
-
1 package breakfast sausage links
-
Mayo for spreading

Cook bacon and sausage links, drain and set aside.

Toast buns in oven, and spread mayo on both top and bottom.

Fry eggs in a skillet until set.

The build order is important for this sandwich to stay together. Place first fried egg on the mayo-covered bottom bun. Top with cheddar slice, egg, and cheddar slice. Lay sausage links across, 4-5 to fit bun. Drape 3 sliced pickles across sausage links, going the opposite way of the sausage. Lay 4 strips of bacon across pickles, and top with remaining bun. Serve and enjoy!

This is the ultimate local hangover breakfast. Every now and then I get a craving for it but haven't found anything local that comes close to my hometown favorite. I had to recreate it myself, and it perfectly emulated the WHIPLASH!
